General Warranty Specifics Applicable to All Shutters
This warranty does not imply or guarantee immediate replacement of any product, part, or component. Stanfield Shutter will at its sole discretion repair, replace, refurbish, or perform any other appropriate task necessary to properly address and resolve the defect. If repairs or replacement is required such action will be done with like or similar parts.
This warranty does not cover any condition, damage, or defect resulting from accidents, alteration, misuse, abuse, exposure to the elements or nature, humidity, changes and aging that normally occur to the finish or materials, normal wear and tear, improper cleaning, improper maintenance, or any other uncontrollable, unpredictable, improbable, or unlikely event or occurrence over which Stanfield Shutter does not have control.
Shutters manufactured by Stanfield Shutter are made according to standard company policy, practice, and specifications. Any shutter manufactured outside these company guidelines is not covered under any warranty written or implied. Minor imperfections or blemishes not noticeable at a distance of approximately four feet from the product under normal lighting are not considered defects. Deflection of any type in any part of the shutter that does not exceed 1/16 inch per foot will not be considered a defect since many of the shutter parts are free-hanging. Deflection is defined as the curvature or drooping of shutter materials, components, and parts when exposed to the natural pull and forces of gravity.
All of the above specifics, warranties, and guarantees are void if events occur outside of the manufacturer’s control, specifications, or in violation of this warranty and its restrictions and limitations. Stanfield Shutter Company Inc reserves the right to cancel this warranty and its guarantees at any time for any reason should Stanfield Shutter Company Inc determine such action to be necessary.
This warranty is exclusive and in lieu of all other obligations, liabilities, or warranties. This warranty is non-transferable and is granted solely to the original retail purchaser of the shutters. In no event shall Stanfield Shutter Company, Inc. or its authorized retailers be liable or responsible for incidental, consequential, or any other type of damages or for any direct or indirect damage, loss, cost, expense, or fee resulting to any object that was a result of a defect determined to be covered under this warranty. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so this exclusion or limitation may not apply to the original purchaser. This warranty gives the original purchaser specific legal rights, and you may have other rights which vary from state to state. |
