Step 1: With a thin razor knife and hammer cut the existing nylon pin as pictured.
Step 2: With a small pointy tool (awl, ice pick, etc.) pry out the remaining cut pin in slat and stile.
Step 3: Take the slat out from the panel and remove the opposite pin.
Step 4: Insert a new tension pin into the slat.
Step 5: Insert a new tension pin into stile of shutter.
Step 5: Insert new spring loaded pin into the opposite stile of the shutter. Push pin in and release into hole of the slat, and repeat, as needed, to obtain proper shutter adjustment tension.
