Vinyl Synthetic Shutters 101
Vinyl synthetic shutters are in! They may be new to the shutter playing field, but are already gaining a large share of the new shutter market. Vinyl shutters come in three forms: Solid, composite, and hollow. Solid vinyl shutters are far superior to either of the two others because they will last much longer in your home. If you are uncertain of whether your louvers are hollow or not, simply give them a squish by hand. If they give at all, they are hollow.
Composite and hollow vinyl shutters tend to discolor, crack, chip, warp, etc. Our vinyl shutters are solid and are made from a time-proven formula and method. We are confident that our solid vinyl shutters are better than any other on the market, and will stand the test of time in your home or business.
Vinyl may not be as strong as HDF or hardwoods, but it is waterproof which comes in handy in places around your home that tend to get wet or damp. We recommend vinyl shutters around kitchen sinks and in bathrooms because they won’t get damaged in these areas as other materials might.
Here at Stanfield Shutter, we carry various vinyl shutter styles including: Raised panel, fixed louvered, or board n batten, to help you achieve your unique design goals. Vinyl shutters are also easy to install and come in a variety of colors to accommodate you.
